Who doesn't love Brownies?
So, I am a Christmas lover! Favourite time of the year. and YES, i am one of those crazy people that makes their gifts by hand for my friends and family. Why you may ask? because i think its sentimental and precious getting something handmade and you save a lot of coin.
You know what makes my hand made gifts the best? they are always FOOD related, never mind Soap and Hand Cream I've made hand made dressed ginger bread men, Assorted chocolate bark, my very own nutty Dukkah mix, home made chili and garlic oils. The list is endless. And you know what? not only do i save money, i also save on time and stress not having to think of gift ideas. Struggling with what to get the in-laws? Sorted. What do i get for secret Santa? Sorted. Everyone loves anything related with food so it is bound to be a winner.
This Christmas i decided to make Brownies in a Jar. I had seen these previously on Pintrest and thought what a great idea for gifts. Super simple, effective and very affordable ingredients. These Brownie jars all in all cost well under $10 each which make them a great gift or stocking filler.
Basically, all it consists of are all the dry ingredients layered nicely in a 1ltr jar which I picked up from Kmart for $3 each. As you can see in the photo above most of my ingredients are Pams. Ain't nothing wrong with Pams. Pam provides the goods at affordable prices. All that needs to be added by the person who receives this amazing gift are the wet ingredients - bake it - and they will have got themselves a delicious brownie to enjoy with a cup of coffee or take as a plate to a morning tea. See below the measurements and how i made these babies!.
